Padme's packing gown from Ep. II.

As odd as it makes me feel to say
this, I picked this outfit because it's
probably one of the most "basic"
outfits that Padme owns. Even her
hairstyle wasn't too ridiculous. All I
had to do was wrap fake hair
around some foam tubing and glue
the buns to a headband. Fun fact,
my hair is really short!

The vest is made from a blackish
velvet, the sleeves from a sort of
(slightly) crinkled chiffon, and the
skirt from a grey/silver dupioni. I
had to use the "wrong" side of the
dupioni for the skirt as opposed to
the shiny "right" side.

As for the headpiece, I used Model
Magic (love love love!) and puff
paint and glued the three pieces to a
simple jewelry chain. The
armbands are made from silver lacy
trim backed with vest velvet and
dotted with puff paint.

Would I like to fix the outfit? Yea...
I'd like to put boning into the vest as
opposed to wearing a separate
corset underneath it and remake the
front panel, but that won't be for a
while.

But until then, I say "Phew!"
