A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…

The Old Republic has stood for eons as a bastion of hope and order for planets throughout the galaxy. Among them are the guardians of peace and justice, the Jedi. Their far reaching scope and guidance through the Force has kept order and mediated disputes across planets. One such member is Jon-Mar Teric. Born in 650 BBY on the Colonies ring world of Borleias, he was brought into the Order as a youngling. He grew to maturity and passed the trials after training under several Masters including Yoda. Due to the harshness of his youth on the unforgiving jungle world of Borleias, Jon-Mar was named Jedi Shadow and assigned rugged missions that sent him out often on his own into outer territories. He often participated in missions on planets such as Agamar, Kessel and Yavin in the Eastern Region, which also included brushes with Sith venturing out from Korriban. A black market trade of artifacts from the Sith homeworld kept him rather busy hunting down and destroying these items while continuing to resist the temptation of power which they whispered. He would eventually be given the title of Master though his actions and practiced use of the Force, though still preferred ‘adventuring’ in the rugged outdoors to the ‘more comfortable’ inner Council workings.
