Custom Jedi kit inspired by early Japanese costume. Made from Raw Silk, Linen, Crinkle Cotton, and Indian Khadi (brought back from India). Trim on the outer tunic was hand made and pleated to give a little more detail. It was designed to be feminine but still look like a Jedi costume.
Inner 'tunic' is faux, wrap top with removable gauntlets. This allows me to remain cool at conventions while still looking like a tunic ;-)
The skirt is a full circle skirt made from crinkle cotton. The belt was made from leather trims with nailheads and a square buckle added for decoration. The belt snaps shut in the back.
The pouch was hand sewn from a heavier hide leather with a cotton cord. It closes with a leather cord.
All seams are finished with french seaming and pressed.
There are no tabbards as they get in the way and always have to be adjusted if not snapped in place. I just don't like them either ;-) There are no food capsules or other belt 'junk', it's just more to get in the way. One large pouch was all I wanted for my character, she can store her capsules in there without worry of losing them in battle ;-)
The boots are knee high brown boots with a small 1" heel.
