I Write fan fiction, and Desta is one of my creations along with her race. She is the last living descendant of Empress Teta, and since she is also half Fane she is long lived. She has force talents and was trained, but when she was fifteen her master was murdered when order 66 was given. The Jedi were purged, but she went into hiding. She resurfaces as a Rebel agent A.B.Y., and later meets Luke and reveals herself to him as Jedi material. She is ‘The Last Padawan.’

The fabric I used in this costume is primarily Cotton Crinkle Gauze. I designed and altered and adapted many different patterns until I found ‘Desta’s Jedi Robes’ which have old republic overtones. I used a lot of grommets, and I gave her a sleeveless Jedi robe, for those dry arid planets she might visit. I’m not finished with it though, I think it still need something. Oh, my brother made the lightsaber I’m wearing.
