Character/Costume Description

Ki-Adi-Mundi (Ke-a-de-moon-de) The Jedi hailed from the green world of Cerea, where he had two wives and a daughter. The low birthrate of the Cereans allowed Ki-Adi-Mundi to receive special exception from the edict that discouraged marriage. A Jedi Knight as of the Battle of Naboo, he was the only non-Master on the council. Ki-Adi-Mundi took up his Council sear fallowing the death of Master Micah Giiett, thought he had previously "sat in" on Council meetings when other members were away on missions.

After the Battle of Naboo, Ki-Adi-Mundi traveled to Tatooine to confirm that the great Jedi Sharad Hett, had resurfaced as a Tusken raider chieftain. Thought Ki-Adi-Mundi failed to prevent Hett's death at the hands of a fallen Jedi, Aurra Sing, he accepted Hett's son A'Sharad as his Padawan learner. Later he allowed the Dark Woman, one of his old teachers, to take over A'Sharad's training.

As a Jedi Master, Ki-Adi-Mundi numbered among the few survivors of the Battle of Geonosis. During the Clone Wars, Master Mundi lead many clones to victory for the Republic. It was on the world of Hypori that Mundi, and four other Jedi were shot down from the sky. A Republic Victory Class Capital Ship crashed as well, and the Jedi held out in the ship for days. It was here that General Grievous made his first appear to the Jedi. All Jedi fought with courage, yet Grievous overpowered them, and slew two. Aayla Secura, and Shaak Ti were of two that were defeated, but they lived. When the rescue came, the Clones saw Ki-Adi-Mundi fighting Grievous to protect the last of the Jedi. Ki-Adi-Mundi, Shaak Ti, and Aayla Securas survived the attack from Grievous to fight another day.

As the Clone Wars continued, a toll was taken on Master Mundi. He saw many of his friends and other pupils die to the hands of the Separatist. On Mygeeto (Ma-gee-toe), Ki-Adi-Mundi fought his last battle. The Clones of the 145th regiment, lead by Commander Bacara opened fire upon their Jedi Commander. Mundi tried to fight back, but was overwhelmed and eventually fell. With the death of Master Mundi, the Clones left the planet and once in space open fired upon the planet, destroying not only the city, but the Separatist on the planet, as well as the remains of the Jedi Master. Mundi's Lightsaber currently resides in the ruins of the Jedi Temple, piled in with all the rest of the fallen Jedi's weapons.
