This is Padme's dressing gown outfit
from
"Revenge of the Sith".

I was able to source all my fabric for
this
costume in LA. Entire costume was
handmade by me.

The nightgown is made with a
polyester
charmeuse and has a polyester lace
outer
layer that I dyed purple to match
references. The nightgown has two
front
darts and a gold chain that has a
purple
teardrop pendant hanging from the
center
and is flanked with 2 faceted purple
gemstones.

The robe is made with a polyester
purple
fur. The sleeves are trimmed with a
ribbon
down the center and has the following
details:

1. At the neck, there is a small
rectangle of
6 blue sequins held in place with seed
beads. The rectangle is surrounded
with
white seed beads. At the neck on each
side
is a tassel. The top of the tassel is a
purple
faceted glass bead. There are 4 strands
of
white seed beads and 3 of purple. Each
strand contains 40 seed beads.

2. At the wrist, there is another small
rectangle containing 6 blue sequins and
surrounded by white seed beads.
Hanging
from each side of the rectangle is a
tassel
that has 4 white strands and 1 purple
strand of seed beads. Each strand
contains
20 seed beads.

3. The center of the robe closes with
two
tassels that loop around each other.
Each
tassel contains 4 white and 3 purple
strands. Each strand contains 80 seed
beads and all strands are held by a
purple
faceted jewel.

The silver headpiece was made by me
out
of 1/16th PLA plastic and heat formed
to fit
my head. The silver wraps around the
ponytail are made of two layers of craft
foam.
