Jyn Erso was the daughter of Lyra
and
Galen Erso, but after her mother was
killed and her father kidnapped by
the
Galactic Empire, she was raised by
Saw
Gerrera, becoming a soldier for him.

However, after being sprung from an
Imperial labor camp, she went on to
help the Rebellion steal the plans for
the
Death Star. Although her mission
succeeded, she died during the Battle
of
Scarif.
