Rand Starfire, the Outlander, lived on
the Outer Rim, and as a young boy
learned survival methods from his
family and clan. Corporate
expansioneers from the Empire
descended on his planet, killing all he
loved. He took up arms and swore to
protect the innocent. He fought in an
epic, hopeless battle where he was
knocked out and left for dead. He woke
up hours later with no recollection of
the battle and begged passage on a
nearby trader heading to Coruscant to
seek answers. He was there found by
the Jedi Order, who sensed something
great, and powerful, within him.
