My Jyn Erso costume, dedicated to
Rebels who fight injustice

Vest:
Ripstop nylon for front of vest,
pockets,
and waistband and matching brown
cotton for the back of vest. Yellow
thread used for top stitching details.
Red nylon used for the facing. Screen
accurate details include patches
under
arms and at name badges placing,
Czech rucksack hook, snap, black
tubing, and hand tied quilting in the
back.
I used the Jyn Erso vest Simplicity
pattern with several modifications for
proper shapes (I hope to write up a
tutorial on this soon).

Pants:
Black stretch denim made using the
recommended McCall pattern with
the
required modifications.

amazing pants tutorial that I used to
create the detailing on mine including
center seams, knee casing, and
vertical
pintucks. No pockets.
Off-white strap at the knee casing
with
two small tan rectangles next to each
strap.

Boots:
Combat style boots with matching
leather flaps (created from an old
leather purse). Screen accurate
buckles
are from a fellow cosplayer's Lange
ski
boots. Weathering and painting by
me.

by
me by adding more leather dye)
