Character/Costume Description

Jedi Rey outfit from the last jedi, for the
inner shirt i used a white 100% cotton
stretch type fabric, and i tea dyed it to
make it a ivory color. For the tunic i used
the diamond embroidery ivory fabric from
mood fabrics i used RIT dye fabric in dark
brown to dye it the correct color, my tunic
is also serged and lined with a dark brown
cotton fabric. My belt/bracer/blasterholster
are made from the same faux leather, i
took two peices of the faux leather and
glued it with contact cement to make it
thicker and look/feel more real because I
honestly had no place to get real leather
locally at this time.. for my arm wraps i
used basic cotton bandage and tea dyed
them. For my bodywraps i used 100%
cotton crinkle gauze i hand dyed them with
RIT I experimented with the recipe because
i couldnt find one i liked so i just winged it ,
i also ironed the fabric to make it look more
flat than crinkle. For my obi i used viscose
fabric, once again i hand dyed this with a
experimented recipe with RIT dye, its
sergeed and it connects in the back by
Velcro for easy access so its not a hassle to
get in and out of during wear.

My pants are make from a 100% cotton
fabric i got at walmart, i made the pattern
by hand and it also has serged seams. I
didnt dye this fabric at all i was luck enough
to find it in the grey color, the boots i got
off of amazon for like $15 each, i bought
two pair and cut one pair up and basically
used it to mod the pair i was gonna wear ( i
messed up thinking they were mens size
and got a 5 in mens, I ended up having to
buy another pair in an 8 because i had
realized it was in womens sizes, but i was
glad because I actually had needed more to
mod the boots so it ended well, the ties on
the boots are just regular black shoe laces i
had laying around.
