This is the costume from the ewok
village,
made by the ewoks for Leia after she
is
accepted by them as a friend.

It consist of an inner, long sleeved
shirt in
an ivory fabric, that has two ridges
on the
sleeves. One on top of the arm and
one
on the side along the elbow point.
These
are gathered at the wrist with a strip
of
grey suede lacing. Only the sleeves
are
visible.

Over the top is a dress made from
pig's
hide. This is the natural hide color
(uncolored), so it can look very
different
depending on the lighting like the
original.
Mostly it will look somewhere along
the
sand to tan colors.
The skirt is double layered in one
side and
differs in lenght. The shortest is just
above
the knee and the longest in about
mid
shin.
Over the princess seams and top
shoulder
seams are cross stitches, and the V
neck
has hide lacing at the bottom of it.
A hide belt is tied just above the hips
and
hangs down to the knees in the front.

A pair of matching leather sandals
are
worn with the costume.

The hair is loose and full of braid
waves,
and there is a part of it braided and
wrapped in suede lacing running over
the
top of the head and down to chest
level.
